It seems our President, Muhammadu Buhari decided to air his view on what he believes women are meant for. I mean for him to publicly state where his wife belongs to, then he must mean the same thing to all the other women of Nigeria do you think?

So our dear president Muhammadu Buhari responded to a remark by his wife, Aisha, that his government has been hijacked by a cabal. Rather than taking this criticism as a normal gentleman who happens to be a president would, he instead replied, in the German Capital might I add, that...

“I don’t know which party my wife belongs to, but she belongs to my kitchen and my living room and the other room,”
*coughs* really Mr President? Can you be more specific? Do you mean belongs in the kitchen as a cook?? Belongs in the living room as a decoration?? And this 'other room' as what??? Please we need clarifications...you words are far too vague.

Back to the gist, our President further said “So I claim superior knowledge over her and the rest of the opposition because in the end I have succeeded.
“It’s not easy to satisfy the whole Nigerian opposition parties or to participate in the government.”

She has decided to keep the names of those who have supposedly hijacked the government anonymous. Instead she said “You will know them if you watch television.”
Mrs. Buhari’s decision to announce her concerns  publicly may shock many people, but it shows the level of discontent with the president’s leadership, the BBC quotes its reporter Naziru Mikailu.
Although she also mentioned the improvement of security in the north-east as her husband’s major achievement during the interview, it seems our First lady regardless of that has decided not to support her husband’s re-election in 2019 unless he shakes up his cabinet. Frankly I believe a lot of Nigerians, especially the women, might just join you in that Mrs. Buhari...
