Former Miss Ebonyi State 2014, Sarah Jegede has won the award for the "Miss Africa Great Britain 2016" last Saturday in London.

The Grand Finale of the Miss Africa Great Britain 2016 took place at the Royal Regency Hall, London on Saturday, the 8th of October,2016, welcomed various contestants from different African Countries.

Nigerian model, Sarah Jegede was crowned the winner after an eventful night and the University of Kent Social Science graduate, relished every moment. She faced tough competition from the other 23 hopefuls who represented other parts of Africa.

Sarah who advocates for Child Education for underprivileged children was crowned by her predecessor, Susana Owono of Equatorial Guinea and will now be the ambassador for the Queens 4 A Reason Charity.

Part of the winning package will see Sarah skydiving from 12,000 ft in aid of the Women’s Aid Charity to Support Women victims of Domestic Violence on October 15, 2016 . This dive will involve a 1-minute freefall before parachuting to the drop zone. She has already raised £610 for this cause.
